At Howard Miller Memorial, we want you to feel confident in your purchase and cared for long after it arrives. If something does not seem right, our team is here to help.

Our Limited Warranty

Howard Miller Memorial warrants that its products will be free from defects in materials and workmanship at the time they leave our facility, under normal residential use and with proper care. This limited warranty applies only to products purchased through Howard Miller Memorial or an authorized seller. Howard Miller uses the same basic warranty approach in its published terms and product pages.

This warranty is available only to the original purchaser and is not transferable.

Warranty Period

This limited warranty begins on the original date of purchase and continues for:

What This Warranty Covers

If a product is found to have a defect in materials or workmanship during the warranty period, Howard Miller Memorial will, at its discretion:

repair the product,
replace the product or defective part, or
provide another reasonable solution through our customer care team.

Our goal is always to make the process feel simple and supportive. Please keep in mind we are unable to receive any products back that have been 'used' do to hazardous material policies.

What This Warranty Does Not Cover

This limited warranty does not cover issues resulting from anything other than a manufacturing defect. That includes:

normal wear and tear,
routine maintenance or adjustment,
cleaning, oiling, or regular servicing,
damage caused by misuse, neglect, accident, abuse, improper installation, or improper storage,
damage that occurs during handling after delivery,
unauthorized repairs, alterations, or modifications,
cosmetic variations or natural material characteristics that do not affect function,
use in commercial or non-residential settings unless specifically stated otherwise.

Howard Miller’s support materials specifically note that cleaning and oiling are considered maintenance and are not covered under warranty.

Authorized Seller Requirement

To protect our customers and preserve product quality, this warranty applies only to items purchased directly from Howard Miller Memorial or from an authorized seller.

How to Request Warranty Service

If you believe your product may be covered under this warranty, please contact our Customer Service team first. We are happy to walk you through the next steps and help determine the best solution.

Please include:

your name and contact information,
order number or proof of purchase,
product name or model number,
a brief description of the issue,
photos, if available.

We may ask for additional details so we can review your claim and help you as quickly as possible.

Before Returning Any Product

Please do not return a product without contacting Customer Service first. In some cases, a return, replacement part, repair, or local service recommendation may be the best path.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, this limited warranty is the only express warranty provided for our products. Howard Miller’s terms similarly disclaim other warranties and limit incidental or consequential damages.

Howard Miller Memorial is not responsible for incidental, indirect, special, or consequential damages arising from the use of a product, including damage to other property or loss caused by product unavailability. Some states do not allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

Your Rights Under State Law

This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights that vary from state to state.
